UPDATE 19th August

Hi all,

Thought I would update you all on our progress, things are moving pretty fast.

Cast

After a very successful audition day held on Tuesday 28th at the Anvil in Basingstoke. I am pleased to say I have selected the main cast and all their mug shots are over there – > cast open season.

Script

Finally finished : )

Location

WE GOT IT…. I’m happy to say we have use of a mansion house for the shoot, check out the update locations page link over there – >

Music

I am very happy to say I have been talking to and received a great deal of help from Rob Neary, who was recently featured in the Oscar Nominated & golden globe winning Motion Picture – “The Wrestler” 2009. He has selected some tracks for us and will be our Music Supervisor for ‘Open Season’. Check out his link – >

Storyboards and concept drawing

My good freind Ed clews will be getting to grips with the script over the next couple of days, and we should have some concept drawings on here soon so watch this space. For more of Eddie’s work check out his link.

I have been a busy bee and we are nearly there with the storyboards, I will be posting some here soon.

Make-up and FX

Myself (Neil) and Patt Foad have been discussing our fx shots and all is moving along nicely. We have all the materials we need and we are gonna get cracking mid August. check out some of Patt’s previous works over there – >.

Filming

Dates will be confirmed within the next week, but we are currently looking at the weekend of the 5th,6th September.

Costume

My good wife (Theresa) has agreed to help us in this department, she studied fashion and textiles at uni and will be a great asset to the production.

Graphics and animation

Clive Kent a good friend of 20 odd yrs will be our graphics/animation and design man. He will be working on the flyers,  be creating certain elements for the film along with our skyhook films animated logo.
